WaterProofing, Sound Reducing and Anti-Fracture Membrane

Bostik’s Ultra-Set® Advanced is a one-part, trowel applied, elastomeric waterproofing, crack isolation, and sound reduction membrane. Ultra-Set® Advanced is approved as a waterproofing membrane in wet areas (bathrooms and kitchens) prior to the installation of ceramic or stone tile, or hardwood. Bostik hardwood adhesives may be used directly over the cured Ultra-Set® Advanced membrane. It may be applied over properly prepared concrete, structurally-sound exterior grade plywood, cementitious backer board, well-bonded vinyl/VCT or ceramic tile, or some gypsum based underlayments. Ultra-Set® Advanced is to be used as a waterproofing membrane (positive pressure), but is not intended to reduce subfloor moisture or moisture vapor transmission. For subfloor moisture vapor protection, use MVP4™, D-261™, D-250™, or one of Bostik’s adhesives with moisture protection
